Terms for using the Shigatsu website and, when available, buying our products

Pre-launch information: Shigatsu’s online checkout and subscription billing are not active. No order or recurring payment can currently be placed through this website. Shipping and seller contact details will be published before checkout opens.

Seller and site status

Shigatsu is an Australian matcha brand. The Australian Business Register currently lists Haeji Jang as an active individual / sole trader ABN holder (ABN 88 676 152 208). The intended business name is Four Tone, as confirmed by the owner; confirm its ASIC business-name registration is active before checkout is enabled. The site is currently informational; displayed prices and subscription options do not accept an order or create a contract.

Orders and pricing

When online sales open, prices will be shown in Australian dollars. Any delivery charge and other mandatory amount will be displayed before you submit payment. An order is accepted only when we send an order confirmation, subject to payment approval and stock availability. If an order cannot be supplied or a displayed price is clearly erroneous, we will contact you and refund any amount paid for an unfulfilled order.

Product availability, product size, origin, harvest and other material details will be shown on the relevant product page and package. Matcha is an agricultural product; natural variation in colour, aroma and flavour can occur between harvests and batches. Images are illustrative and may not reproduce the exact colour seen on every screen.

Subscriptions

Subscription prices shown on the subscription page are planned monthly prices, including a 10% product discount from the stated one-time price. Subscription billing is not active. Before enrolment opens, we will show the recurring amount, frequency, delivery charges, renewal and cancellation process and any other material terms before consent is given.

Consumer rights and product information

Nothing in these terms limits consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the ACL. Product claims and origin descriptions are provided in good faith and will be supported by relevant supplier information. Information on the package, including storage and date details, should be followed.

Website use and intellectual property

Website text, branding, photography and design may not be reused commercially without permission from the relevant rights holder. You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access or use its content in a way that infringes another person’s rights.

Changes and governing law

We may update website content and these terms. Changes to a purchase contract will not apply retrospectively unless the law allows. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland and the applicable laws of Australia. Any dispute is subject to the courts and tribunals with jurisdiction in Queensland, subject to your non-excludable rights.
